Number Words Worksheets
Match each number to its word and practice spelling it. A natural next step after number tracing.
Where to start
Best for: Ages 5–7 (kindergarten to 1st grade) · Time: 10 minutes per page
Start with the number words one to ten. Once those are easy, move on to eleven to twenty, which include the trickier spellings.
- Day 1–2: trace one to five and read each word aloud.
- Day 3–4: trace six to ten and play a matching game with number cards.
- Week 2: eleven to twenty, noticing the “teen” ending.
