Dolch Primer Sight Words Set 9 Worksheet
Swap in your own words, add a title, or print a set for your whole class.
About this worksheet
Words in this set: too, under, want, was. This is set 9 of 11 in the Dolch Primer list (52 words).
The packet practices the same words three ways: trace them, read and write them on your own, then rainbow-write each one in three colors. Doing one activity a day makes an easy routine for the week.
Next up: well, went, what, white. Keep reviewing earlier sets as you go — a quick read-through of old words takes only a minute.
How to use this worksheet
- Read the word aloud and use it in a short sentence, such as “I can see the cat.”
- Say the word slowly and point to the letters for each sound. If one part doesn’t sound the way it looks, point it out — that is the part to learn by heart.
- Trace the word, saying each letter name and starting at the dots.
- Read the word again, then cover it and write it from memory. Check and fix it together.
